Mobberley Methodist Church serves one of the larger villages of the Circuit, situated halfway between Knutsford and Alderley Edge. The church was built in 1882 for the growing local Methodist worshippers, and it continues to be active in the local community.
Worship Services
There is a Weekly Service each Sunday at 10am. On the second and fourth Sundays, these take the form of Café Church in the Church Schoolroom.
Fellowship and Community
There is a weekly Prayer & Bible Study meeting on Wednesdays at 7pm in the Schoolroom.
Renew is on Saturdays, from 10am ’til 12 noon. The ‘renew@unfinishedgarden’ is a Renew Wellbeing Space where “it is OK not to be OK”. People can take time in the garden with a book or just a coffee, help with weeding, or just sit in the Schoolroom and chat – whatever they feel that they need. Each session begins and ends with an optional meditative Prayer Time, which enables us to be still and reflect.
We hold a Coffee Morning on the 2nd Saturday of the month, from 10am ’til 12 midday – alongside “Renew”.
There are also Plant Sales, Cream Teas, and other exciting events that take place during the year – contact the Circuit Office for more details.
The local W.I. meet in the afternoon of the 3rd Thursday of each month, in the Schoolroom – if you want any more details, please contact the Circuit Office.
Minister: Rev. Peter Brazier
Address: Faulkners Lane, Mobberley, WA16 7AL.
