Mottram St Andrew

Mottram St Andrew Chapel was built in 1894, celebrating its centenary in 1994. The official opening was on January the 16th 1895 at 3pm, when the then President of the Wesleyan Methodist Conference, Rev. Walford Green, presided.

Worship Services

Our small and friendly Chapel is the sole Place of Worship in the Village, serving the Community which surrounds it. Services are held each Sunday Morning, from 10am to 11am, followed by tea/coffee and a chance to chat with each other. We celebrate Special Services at Easter, Harvest, Remembrance, and Christmas.

Fellowship and Community

Each month, we hold a Coffee Morning (usually mid-month) from 10am to 12 noon to which everyone is welcome – to find-out when the next one is, contact the Circuit Office. Once a fortnight, on a Friday at 1:30pm, we enjoy a time of Fellowship discussing various topics from the Bible. All are welcome – again, contact the Circuit Office for the dates. We enjoy good relationships with both Mottram St Andrew Village Hall and Mottram St Andrew Primary Academy School.

Access

Although we do not have a Car Park, there is parking on the road outside the Chapel, and we have Wheelchair Access via a Portable Ramp.
